About the Role:
As a Content Curator for Champak, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital reading experience for children and parents around the world. Your primary responsibilities include categorizing and presenting Champak stories on the web-based on age and theme, ensuring a visually appealing website, and creating a curated selection of stories for monthly sharing. You will also make the magazine's extensive archive accessible to a global audience in digital format.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Envision the ideal children's website and collaborate with designers to create a visually stunning and reader-friendly platform.
- Design and implement an elegant content navigation architecture.
- Ensure coherence and continuity between the web and print magazine, working closely with the design team.
- Conduct research on content in the category relevant to our audience
- Regularly review and validate content for accuracy.
- Edit, proofread, and suggest improvements to written content.
- Oversee writing projects to ensure accuracy and coherent storytelling
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team consisting of web designers, marketing executives, and illustrators.
- Adhere to SEO best practices.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Liberal Arts (History, Literature, Political Science), Journalism, Communications, or a relevant field.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Proficiency with software such as InDesign and Photoshop, WordPress, and Microsoft Office 365
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and tools
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Insight into how audiences consume digital content on platforms like YouTube, the web, social media, and mobile.

Managing Editor and Associate Editor
Collaborating With:
Collaborate with teams across print, web, and content production for the magazine, marketing, and books.
